on Gillooly, our Administrator and Spiritual Director, received his B.A. in Philosophy and Religion from the University of Central Florida and has been in ministry for 35 years. He studied and trained at Dr. Solomon's Grace Fellowship International and attended Dr. Larry Crabb's Institute of Biblical Counseling. He has served on the pastoral staffs of The Messenger, a private Christian counseling ministry, and All Saints Episcopal Church of Winter Park. Lon is a co-founder of the House of Hope, a home for runaway and throw-away teenage girls in Orlando. After volunteering for many years with Fellowship of Christians in Action (the Lynx
ministry), God gave Lon a vision forEagle Rock in 1991. In addition to his job as Administrator and Spiritual Director of Eagle Rock, Lon works with mentally handicapped adults in Maryville, TN and co-teaches the Sojourner Sunday School class at Fairview United Methodist Church. Lon counsels teenagers and young adults and mentors married couples as a part of his ministry at Eagle Rock. In his spare time, Lon enjoys his season tickets, cheering the UT Volunteers at Thompson-Boling arena.
